Although the the CD was released in 1995, 1997 was the pivotal year for the music industry to utilize digital marketing, online distribution and digital promotion and Shanachie was no different. They digitized Crumb’s artwork and promoted it on the internet and printed promotional posters. In fact, there are some glitches with this poster, and they ALL have them. There are black squares and light grey lines intermittently printed among the musicians and groups at the bottom of the image. That’s the way this and all these Shanachie posters are–and they were all signed by Crumb in ’97 in black ink.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe blue metal frame is 22” x 38.” There are three matte boards: red on the bottom, yellow in the middle and a tan matte on top. All the edges are bevel cuts of course. It’s a really nice job framing this conglomeration of Grateful Dead memorabilia. The image of the poster itself is 16” x 18.” And it’s still bright and in perfect condition because UV protected glass was used.
