This is a poster from the limited poster edition first released in 2003 by Wildwood Serigraphs. It is a numbered only edition of 1000 posters (CMYK plus a white spot color) on a very light sand colored paper. The matte is covering the number of the print, but it is undoubtedly from that edition. The edition sold out several years after its release. AI will tell you this is a hand-pulled serigraph, but it is NOT. It’s a beautiful poster printed in very fine detail. You’ll need strong magnification to see any halftone dots. It’s almost exactly the same size (but slightly smaller) as the 12 panel Short History of America serigraph edition released by Wildwood in 1998.

The black wooden frame is 34” x 27.” The image size is 14.5” x 17.” There was never any certificate of authenticity produced for this edition. This framed print is from the collection of Dr. Burstein, so that means the matte board is archival and the glass is UV protected.
