Tales of Paranoia – R. Crumb's latest comic book

Got my first issue of Zap in the early seventies, I have never been the same. When I saw the add for Robert's latest work I scraped my hard earned cash together and ordered via Crumb's official site. My purchases arrived quickly, were properly packaged and as an added bonus the envelope has a rubber stamped Crumb drawing for the return address. As for Paranoia, R. Crumb does not disappoint. it is a humorous yet insightful examination of a complex and relevant subject, one that many have a shared interest in, to put it lightly. I also got a copy of Mr. Natural No. 3, pristine condition. My dream is to own a print someday. Thank you R. Crumb for so many years of laughter!

after being a fan for over 50 years this is the frist and only time I really disliked Crumbs work. of he draws better than ever, but how ,many panels of him spewing hid foolish ideas does one want to look at? it is not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing with his ideas...it is more like ...who cares?!?!? about his ideas about covid etc etc.....at least make it a story not just a rant and screed......editor...where are you? please put your time and money not getting mr natural book back on the market and so much more of his great work we are all waiting for to be reprinted....

Mostly just a lot of non-entertaining blabbering by Crumb. Not much about women and sex.

I enjoyed the book, and found a lot of food for thought there. Crumb’s insights and slice-of-life anecdotes are interesting and well expressed, and in many cases highly relatable. I don't find his paranoia to be irrational at all; I share many of his concerns, and I believe them to be justified.

Crumb delves deeper than ever into his deep state, anti vax, corporate takeover paranoia, all valid topics to be sure. But his word balloons get wordier and wordier and the action less and less. More show and less tell would have been appreciated, but, I guess he had to let it all out. Sorry to hear his wife passed.
