Tales of Paranoia – First Edition Sold Out, will be back in print in April

I was warned about this, but as much as I adore Crumb, his current writing about vaccine conspiracies is not provocative at all, and even worse: not very smart, uninteresting, humourless and boring.

As with all of Crumb comics, it's great!
The story is interesting, thought provoking, and fun
The art work is awesome, as is all of Crumb's previous work's. He has only gotten better with age.
I totally recommend this comic. Everyone should buy a copy now!

While Crumb's artistic sensibilities and powers are as great as they've ever been, he seems to have become lost in a bewildered world of fear and mistrust. The piece on the "Deep State Woman" follows the career of an accomplished MD and public health administrator, noting the milestones of her career while not actually stating anything that should give the reader pause about her. It's a pointless piece at best, and a ridiculous example of envy and resentment against those better-educated than Crumb, at worst. It's great that Crumb himself survived the worst years of the Covid pandemic-- not everyone did. His ignorant railing against public health measures that were intended to stop the severity and spread of that disease are just pitiful. It's sad to see that Crumb is, in the end, just another boomer with deluded, half-baked ideas about what it means to be a free thinker. What an absolute let-down.

Of course, Phenomenal!
Now, to be a nitpicking fanboy…art, to be sure, is fab - but, but , but too MANY self-portraits of the old master kvetching…so the wonderful usual background weirdness of real life is not portrayed! Get me? The Bruegel- reality is missing!
As to the theories - meh! Who among us has not entertained those notions for years…and so what?
Thing is, the guy just lost his wife and deserves our love and sympathy - makes me want to take him out for a burger.
I give it an A not his usual A+!!!!
